14. A warning to the people/The good and the evil/This is war.

For those of you who don't know, there's a vampire on the Barge named Jerry. He hasn't been here long and he's not a very nice guy. Mountain ash can trap him someplace, or keep him out of a place. It acts like a supernatural barrier. I've asked the Admiral for more. I have some already, but not enough for everyone.

[His jaw tightens a little. His face is just a slight shade paler than usual, but if you haven't really paid attention to that sort of thing -- you're not likely to notice.]

Someone with a shitload of super powers should probably go let him out of the laundry room. But be careful. He's probably really pissed off about now.

[He looks like he wants to say something else, but he doesn't. He just disconnects the feed.]

Obviously you guys can't handle mountain ash. So you're going to need to be extra careful with this douchewad. We don't know what kind of damage a vampire could do to one of you.

[From Vergil's side of the communicator, another voice chimes in.]

From experience, I can tell you that I've never had the compulsion to count spilled anything.

[Sylvanas moves into view behind Vergil, not too close, but certainly close enough.]

Though the San'layn is remarkably base and common. So who can say what all his failings are.

[No one likes Jerry, not even the other undead.]

[He pauses at the statement, unsure of who's speaking until she moves into view. Sylvanas. He's never actually talked to her before, but he's pretty damn sure that's who she is. He's heard a little about her from Lydia, of course. The other resident banshee. The one who's dead.]

The...who? [The word San'layn makes him falter, and he wonders if that's another word for vampire.]

Different realities hold different rules. Just because you kind is not compelled does not mean his may not be. One should never rule out the possiblity if they do not have the power to simply destory the pest.

[...that was not suppose to be insulting. He stepped aside and motioned Sylvannas to speak on.]

Go on, you would be more the expert.

Everything can be killed, Vergil.

[SHe doesn't say it scolding, but simply, like having a friendly debate.

When Vergil moves aside, she stands next to him. Equal.]

San'layn is what they are called on my world. Undead that drink blood rather than consume flesh. The best disposal would be fire, holy magics, and dismemberment. I wouldn't trust anything else.

[He notices the way she stands beside him rather than behind or in front of him. It's a subtle clue, but he picks up on it because that's what he's good at.]

Oh.

Holy magics? I've heard of holy water, but not holy magics. [He thinks, though, of Morgana.] Dismemberment. [He grimaces a little but nods, jotting it down on his growing list of possible ways to kill vampires.]

Right, my apologies. It slipped my mind that some things do stay dead.

[ He crossed his arms over his chest, just the smallest of sign of pride showing. He'd deny it if called on it though. ]

Holy water should work fine unless you intend to spend the time to search the books to find a proper spell and hope it works. I would stick to holy water, it is easier to get.

As for dismemberment, beheading is quick and easy. Very hard to mess that one up. [ he looked to Sylvanas and nods. He figures Stiles is a beginer at this.]

Is there any other questions you might need answered?

[And that makes him think of Dean. Of how many times he's died and then been pulled back onto the battlefield by one side or another. He blinks a couple of times and refocuses on Vergil and Sylvanas. Then he nods.]

I'll see if the Admiral will hand over some holy water. [Stiles is not good with blood and gore in general. Beheading? That's definitely new and so not on his list of things he ever wants to try out. But researching and finding answers? That's definitely nothing new.]

No, I think that's it for now. Thank you for your help. [He offers both of them a small smile.]

He's a pest, I have no qualms seeing him dealt with as such.

[That's about as close to a "your welcome" as she's likely to get.]
