Hey, man. You can probably guess why I'm contacting you, but...what can you tell me about this Aurora Chair? Is this thing safe for anyone?

[He doesn't know who Gard was. But something like what Scorpius described definitely had to take some serious time to build. It unsettles him -- whether Scorpius is the one running the Aurora Chair or not, it sounds like something that would be very dangerous if it was in the possession of the wrong person. And on a ship full of people, how long would it possibly take for that exact thing to happen?

He draws in a breath and nods.]

So how do we make that happen?

There's always the direct approach. It's in the lab. If I can get some time alone in there maybe I can screw with it enough to take it offline.

Or, I could just blast it with my pulse pistol.

I don't know exactly what a pulse pistol is but it sounds like it'd be a fairly efficient away to just obliterate the thing?

[He grabs his gun from its place in his thigh holster and holds it up.]

This is a pulse pistol. Winona here'll blast hole clean through that thing.

[Oh. He nods a little.]

Well personally that route gets my vote. Seems like it'll be faster and easier.

[Messier, too, maybe, but more efficient.]

She's gonna make some noise. No way I'm gonna get away with this without someone seeing.

What kind of trouble are we looking at for this?

Can't say for sure. I might be looking at some time in zero cooling my heals. I don't know what the policy is for throwing Wardens in there. If not, I'm sure I'm not gonna make any friends setting off a firearm in the lab. I don't expect to get off clean from this.

[But it means enough to him not to care. No way is anyone getting the same from that chair that he got. Not if there's anything he can do about it.]

You think there's any chance the Admiral would kick you off the Barge over it?

[Because that's something Stiles can't risk, himself. The thought of sitting down in Zero isn't exactly thrilling either, but he'd deal with it if he had to.]

I doubt it. People have done worse on here, even Wardens. I'm not exactly killing anyone am I?

[And, if anyone tries to intervene, he will sooner drop his gun then fire on them. He's trying to stop violence here.]

[He relaxes at that, nodding and looking up again. Anyone getting hurt is definitely what he's wanting to prevent, too.]

Yeah, point. Okay, so when do you wanna do this? And how can I help?

I wanna say the sooner the better, but that thing's a hot topic today thanks to his post.

I say we wait until late tomorrow, when hopefully less people will be around. Then, we'll go in, blast it and...see what happens from there.

[And this is one of his simpler plans for once.]
