[He almost doesn't log on when he realizes what's going on. Almost. But he's never been good about refraining from doing things when it comes to finding out what's going on. And he's just hoping like hell that his dad really is okay like Liam told him, that Melissa's doing well, that things in Beacon Hills aren't as screwed up as they usually are. He hopes.]

So, anyone out there from Beacon Hills listening on this thing?

I have a question for you. [Actually it's more like a possible request. He's not entirely sure yet.]

...Really? [It's a pleasant sort of surprise, but - ] Do you think he'd be...receptive to that?

[He thinks very highly of Jean. But here's the rub.]

No. Not really. I don't think he'll be happy about it at all. I was kinda wondering how you'd feel about it knowing he probably won't be receptive for awhile.

[Her brow furrows, as she considers.] I'd definitely be willing to tough it out, but - only if it'll do more good than harm.

[He draws in a breath and lets it out slowly.]

Okay. It's just something I've been kicking around for a few days and I wanted to see how you felt about it before I decided either way.

[She nods.] If you do - tell him I won't force him to talk, or anything else. And that it doesn't have to be in my office.

Yeah, definitely. Thanks, Jean. I appreciate it.

Of course. I - thank you, too. [For asking. For trusting her.]

How've you been, lately?

[He smiles softly at the thanks and nods.]

Well...[He chews his lower lip and shifts the camera so she can see Scott's comatised form laying beside him.]

If he'd wake up, I'd be doing a lot better, you know?

[Her eyes widen, and then - she has to smile, warm and rueful.] You're doing better than me. I can't look at Morgana like that, for too long. [It's not at all like death, she keeps telling herself, but she's so still, and her mind is so distant.]

[He's quiet for a minute, looking troubled.]

Yeah. I don't like it. I miss him. But I feel like I need to stay with him.

[Just in case. Just in case of what, Stiles isn't entirely sure. But every time he leaves Scott's room for long, his anxiety levels rise.]

I mean, I know he'll be fine. Everyone's fine when they do the coma thing. Right?

As far as I know. [Not much is definite, on the Barge.] I've slipped into it a few times, and - the most I felt was groggy, when I woke up. Like, you know, I hadn't moved for a few weeks.

I've never seen anyone suffer any complications, in all the time I've been here.

[He nods a little. He hasn't heard of anything worse happening either. But he knows nothing is guaranteed. Not back home, and not here.]

Thanks, Jean. I'm sure they'll both wake up soon.
