[A short while after his conversation with Bucky, Stiles takes stock of all the coats, hats, gloves and scarves that are all over his floor thanks to The Admiral. It takes him an hour and a half to sort everything by size, then color, draping some of the piles on his bed, some on his desk, and some that have no other place to go but the floor. There's not much of a walkway, but it's big enough that kids can come in and get what they need.
After that's done, he drops down in his desk chair and turns on the camera, arching his eyebrows.]

[He wonders, if he'd been turned into a kid again, if it would have occurred to him to make the same offer as Bucky and Steve. He doubts it. But they're from a very different time period.]
Nope, we're good. The Admiral gave them to me to hand them out to anyone who needed them.

[Times are hard, and people don't often just give things away. The orphanage didn't exactly have money pouring out their ears, either.
Although Steve's not completely unfamiliar with charity, he's also not very good at accepting it.]
Oh - wow. He must be a pretty generous guy.
[Steve thinks he might have talked to him, before. But he can't quite remember, even if that bothers him quite a bit.]

[He smiles faintly at Steve's comment about the Admiral. The guy can be generous sometimes. Other times Stiles wants to choke him for the frustration and trouble. He takes a deep breath and nods.]
Yeah, he is. Are you doing okay here so far? Other than needing a coat? [Thinly veiled: how's your asthma?]

So it'll just take him a while to get back up to the top. It's okay. He can make it.]
Me? Yeah - I mean, there's so much to eat. [Neither of them have gone to bed hungry, and Steve doesn't have to try to put the stuff that Bucky puts on his plate back onto Bucky's when they've both got enough.] And oranges, even though it's winter.
[Although he's pretty sure he's catching a cold, with the way he's sniffling occasionally - but when is that new?]

Yeah, oranges are pretty great.
[His smile fades a little at the sniffling.]
Sounds like you're coming down with a cold, though.

[Of course, at the mention of a cold, he gives a little huff - somewhat indignantly, but there's a touch of being resigned to his fate somewhere in there, too.] I just got over one last month. I'm being careful. [Ish. But see, he's getting a coat! And Bucky gave him this strange-looking sweater.]

No, it's not definitely not easy. If you figure it out, though, let me know. I wouldn't mind learning a new trick.
[He purses his lips at Steve's admission, and he nods.]

[Not that he'd waste a single one of them, though, so it might take a while.
Although he nods, pretty eagerly, at the question.] Yeah - yeah, it's really great. It's so small. And it works fast.
Don't worry, I'm taking good care of it and I'll only use it when I really need it.
[He assumes it must be expensive, or hard to replace or refill, and he's trying to take really good care of it!] Thanks for letting me use it.

[No, for real. There are about a hundred still in his closet. The Admiral has a sense of humor.]

Are you sure? [He looks almost incredulous - but also grateful.] I mean, it's really great - I don't have to bother Bucky, I can use it all by myself. [And he likes this idea - Bucky spends enough time helping him out, talking him through attacks. This will be better for them both.] Thank you - really, are you sure you don't need any chores or anything?
