[As usual, he wonders if his own death would have prevented that of someone else's. Allison's. It always seems to come down to that. But he knows that despite the death toll, his own death would also have taken its toll on his friends. He knows that if there's an ultimate choice at stake -- and there is, he'll always choose Allison's life over his own. But in this situation he hadn't known, couldn't have known, and Scorpius certainly didn't, so while the thanks is belated, it is also sincere.]

Hey. Thanks for...well, Scott said you gave me your own blood or I probably wouldn't have survived. That's pretty awesome doctor-ing, considering the limited amount of supplies and stuff.

She knows we're leaving stuff out. I told her no one really wanted to talk about my murder spree right now, but I don't know if... [He looks down, holds his breath for a moment. He doesn't know if she believes that's all there is. That alone is a lot. But Allison is smart, and she knows all of them so very well. He exhales.]

I'm starting to think maybe we should tell her. Before she winds up finding out some other way.

I know we haven't really talked but uh, I was wondering if that whole offer you made a few days ago about people talking to you...if that was still on the table. [A beat.]

Wow. Um. [He shakes his head.] Yeah, that sounds, like... way worse than evil bumper cars.

Yeah it was unpleasant. Not that the evil bumper cars were a good time, either. Did you get caught up with those?

My room's on the floor where they were, so. [He shrugs.] I ran into Needy and we got chased and, like, a little beat up, I guess. But nothing major, you know. Um, then I sort of hung around on deck for the rest of it.

[A frown tugs his features down as he says that. He'd been up on deck with Chase, whose attitude and experience really seemed to match up with his own, moreso than most of the other people he's met onboard. Someone he really thought he could be friends with (bad influence or not). Whose door is now back to blank and indistinct again.]

You're on the seventh floor? [Surprise registers in his voice and on his face.] I'm on the seventh floor, too.

I'm glad you were both okay. [And that's very sincere.]

Me too. [It's the sincerity that gets him. He's lonely and everything's been breaking down his walls and he finally just decides to go with it, for now.] Sorry you weren't as lucky, dude.

And yeah, my room's seven-fifteen. So like... When were you thinking you wanted to do this thing?

Tomorrow sounds- cool. Yeah. I've got some maintenance stuff to do for a while but. You know, after that, whenever.

After's fine. I should be here pretty much all day. Are you working with Anya's crew?

Yeah. Figured I should try to, like, learn something while I'm stuck here, I guess.

Yeah, definitely. Wouldn't mind learning how to do some of that stuff myself.
